Crystal Reports: Common Formulas for Crime Analysis

This two-hour, online, instructor-led, interactive seminar covers the Crystal Reports formulas commonly used for Crime Analysis. We will demonstrate the use of formulas for determining, the month, day of week, and age. We will also cover using formulas to format the report, formulas to join many fields together (concatenation), and formulas to adjust the field type. There is usually time for the instructor to cover fomulas specific to the needs of those attending.

Topics: Creating and modifying formulas in Crystal Reports, functions, operators, fields, concatenation, if-then-else-if statements, etc..

Tuition: Tuition for this course is $45 and must be paid in advance to secure a place in the webinar. Tuition includes instruction and a $10 nonrefundable data processing fee. The tuition is on a per-person basis. Participants are on their honor to have only one person per tuition and per internet terminal.

Requirements: The student is required to have some experience with Crystal Reports and should be able to add fields from the Field Explorer to the details section and preview their report. Each student should have a pencil or pen with a notebook handy for note-taking. It is up to the participant to make certain he or she can access the seminar website prior to the webinar scheduled time. When we confirm your registration, we will provide instructions and a test time for you to check your connection. We suggest having an IT person handy in case local administrator privileges are required. It is rare that someone would be unable to attend due to technical issues. If we cannot get this working for you, a full and complete refund will be issued. On Seminar day, please log into the webinar 10 minutes prior to start time to allow for any last-minute adjustments.
