
Photoshop for Law Enforcement
This course is designed to provide the basics of operating Photoshop for law enforcement use. The five main sections include: scanned images, image sizing, background tricks, photo enhancement and file types. Students will be introduced to the software using law enforcement examples.
This course includes a round table discussion on the chain of evidence, policy and procedure implications.
Topics: working with scanned photos, changing the background,
removing your subject from the photo, adjusting photo size, enhancing images,
color correction, despeckling, sharpening, file types, the tool box, miscellaneous
filters.
Tuition: Tuition for this course is $345 and must be paid in advance to secure a place in the class. Tuition includes instruction, materials and a $50 nonrefundable data processing fee.
Requirements: The student is not required to have experience with Photoshop. Each student should bring a pencil or pen to assist with the workbook exercises.
